Preparing Pretzels
On Friday, May 27th - the last day of our cooking-themed week, we made pretzel dough as a class. Many of our friends left early for Memorial Day weekend, but the children who stayed were able to make the dough into delicious pretzels in the afternoon. Adding the yeast to the bowl. |
Pictures by Preschoolers
When we told the children that we would be taking pictures for the website, they were very excited! We decided as a group that the children should be allowed to take some of the pictures too. Each child got a chance to take a picture of something they love to be posted here! Playdate with the Police
On Tuesday, May 21st, we were visited by Officer Jessie Oliverio, who came from the Ann Arbor Police Department to talk to our children about the role police play in our community. She explained how police officers are always ready to help and keep people safe. After a short talk, we were able to go explore her police cruiser! Last but not least, Jessie passed out stickers and tattoos with "official" police badges on them - which won her a place in all the children's hearts. Jessie talks to us at Morning Meeting. We head outside to see her car! Jessie describes her car to Jude and Nolan. |
